Growing the Family of God for the Glory of God

At Faith Bible Fellowship Church, we are passionate about Growing the Family of God for the Glory of God.  Ours is not a unique calling, but one that every biblically faithful assembly of Christ-followers is mandated to pursue.  As we WORSHIP, WALK, and WORK for Christ together, we endeavor to grow in Christ-like maturity as a spiritual family that is united in our effort to make disciples of Christ, at home and around the globe, until the Lord returns.

WORSHIPING CHRIST TOGETHER

As children of God, redeemed by Christ’s blood, our highest privilege and priority is worshiping Christ together. Our chief end in life is to glorify God by delighting in who He is and what He has done for us in Christ. Together, we seek to love God with all we are, with all we have, and in all we do, as living sacrifices for the Lord.

WALKING With CHRIST TOGETHER

As we follow Christ together, we seek to be conformed to his image as the Holy Spirit enables us to learn from and live out the Word of God. Since this journey of growth is designed by God to be pursued in community with our brothers and sisters in Christ, we desire to share life with one another in order to serve, strengthen, and spur on our spiritual family.

Working For CHRIST TOGETHER

As we worship and walk together, we also desire to be good stewards of the gifts that God has entrusted to us. Together, we want to invest our lives in building up the Family of God into biblical maturity and expanding the Family of God by proclaiming the gospel in our homes, our church, our community, and to the end of the earth.

All Christians are called to grow in their personal knowledge and love of the Lord Jesus Christ, but also to help others progress in that same journey.  That’s why at the heart of FBFC is a desire to equip every believer to become a disciple-maker. Our Philosophy of Ministry is centered around cultivating a family commitment to WORSHIPING, WALKING, and WORKING for Christ together.  After all, it is only as we are worshiping Christ, both personally and corporately, that our love for Him will fuel our ongoing sanctification, and it is only as we are building one another up in truth and love that we will be motivated and united to pursue our joint mission of making more disciples to the glory of God.  Like all Christians, we are dependent on the Lord’s grace and the work of the Holy Spirit in us in order to live out this calling. That’s why faithful preaching and teaching of the Word of God is at the center of our shared life together. We are dependent on the Lord to use His Word to mold us into the image of Christ and to empower us for effective service in His name.  As He is gracious to us, we delight in Growing the Family of God for the Glory of God.
