Did you know that we are certain to face problems regarding our health, wealth and relationships? And, if that’s not enough what about difficulties in marriage, raising children properly, our work and ministry? Would you like to avoid trouble and problems due to poor decision making?
Proverbs gives us keen insights and answers. It equips the Christian with wisdom, knowledge and understanding so we prevent those short-sighted decisions that can land us in trouble. Avoid being naïve due to principles of wisdom being ignored. Circumvent ignorance as it relates to illicit relationships, wrong responses and unwise handling of responsibility. Proverbs teaches us to speak, act and persevere in wisdom. We will learn how to establish Christ-like character that helps us stay motivated to apply wisdom in pressured situations.
Come join us for this interactive and participatory study in the book of Proverbs. We will see the rise of wisdom and what lead to its decline through the life of King Solomon. What happens when wisdom is disregarded and replaced with unwise thinking? Need for approval, emotional involvement and pandering to the feelings of others are pitfalls we need to avoid. What happens when the church looks to Proverbs and implements its principles for the congregation to follow?
Wise Up! with your finances. Wise Up! with your health. Wise Up! with relationships. Wise Up! when making decisions. Wise Up - Oh Church!
All are invited as we begin Wednesday evening September 8th at 6:30 pm in the modular units. The class will include interactive study, teaching, sharing and prayer.
