Disaster Relief Short Term Mission Trip

The BFC is organizing three opportunities to assist in the relief efforts in North Carolina and other parts of the country with Baptists on Mission and Samaritans Purse. Teams are being formed for January 19-25, February 16-22, and March 16-22. People with any skill from cooking, carpentry, plumbing, electric, painting and general care service are welcome. Participants may range from age 14 and up (children 14-17 must be accompanied by a parent). The trip cost will include transportation to and from the sites and food while on the work site. Housing and meals on site will be provided by the host organization. If interested in joining a team, please complete the online application at www.bfcbom.org/disaster. Email Board of Missions at office@bfc.org with any questions.

Missions Sunday

On Sunday, January 5th we will be having our first Missions Sunday of the year! Please come out and join us as we will have the opportunity to hear from one of our supported workers during the Sunday School hour. We will also have a time of Q&A, refreshments, and fellowship. Then, join us for worship at 10:15AM as we hear from guest preacher, Dr. Ed Scheuerman.

Nursery, Children’s Sunday School and Children’s Church will operate as usual.

Cross Con 2025

All are invited to attend The Cross Conference from January 2nd-4th in the Stables at Faith BFC. We will be participating in the conference via livestream. This is a Missions focused conference designed to foster lasting change through sound teaching, Christ-centered worship, group discussions, and rich fellowship. Each person will be challenged to consider their role in the Great Commission, answering Christ’s command to make disciples of all nations, whether as a sacrificial goer or a supportive sender. Meals will be provided for this event and there is no cost to attend. Please sign up online and see Pastor Nate Miller with any questions. Please visit the Cross Con website here for more information about the conference.
